Slagerij Bührs is so much more than just a butcher. The Bührs family have been in the butchery business for 140 years. Owners, Robbert and Mike are already the fifth generation.
Slagerij Bührs recently opened a second branch on the Wittenburgergracht in Amsterdam on the 28 September 2018. It was in this very place where it all started when the great-grandfather of Robbert and Mike opened a butcher’s shop and started the success of Bührs.
The butcher shop is known for its high-quality meat from farmers selected by them. They maintain personal contact with the farmers and ensure the animals are well cared for and experience as little stress as possible — you can taste this!
The shop not only sells delicious pieces of steak and Duroc pork, but also more luxurious products such as Iberico ham that has matured for 45 months and dry-aged Côte de Boeuf. For extra advice about the preparation or when choosing a type of meat, you do not have to shy away from Slagerij Bührs. They are happy to think along with you and offer tailor-made advice.
At Slagerij Bührs you can also choose from a range of fresh and rich sandwiches, ready meals and cold meats throughout the day. Not only in the store but also via Thuisbezorgd, Deliveroo, Uber and Foodora.
The butcher shop is constantly evolving and focuses on the wishes of their customers. For example, master classes are organized with the Green Egg.
