Slager­ij Bührs is so much more than just a butch­er. The Bührs fam­i­ly have been in the butch­ery busi­ness for 140 years. Own­ers, Rob­bert and Mike are already the fifth gen­er­a­tion.

Slager­ij Bührs recent­ly opened a sec­ond branch on the Wit­ten­burg­er­gracht in Ams­ter­dam on the 28 Sep­tem­ber 2018. It was in this very place where it all start­ed when the great-grand­fa­ther of Rob­bert and Mike opened a butcher’s shop and start­ed the suc­cess of Bührs.

The butch­er shop is known for its high-qual­i­ty meat from farm­ers select­ed by them. They main­tain per­son­al con­tact with the farm­ers and ensure the ani­mals are well cared for and expe­ri­ence as lit­tle stress as pos­si­ble — you can taste this!

The shop not only sells deli­cious pieces of steak and Duroc pork, but also more lux­u­ri­ous prod­ucts such as Iberi­co ham that has matured for 45 months and dry-aged Côte de Boeuf. For extra advice about the prepa­ra­tion or when choos­ing a type of meat, you do not have to shy away from Slager­ij Bührs. They are hap­py to think along with you and offer tai­lor-made advice.

At Slager­ij Bührs you can also choose from a range of fresh and rich sand­wich­es, ready meals and cold meats through­out the day. Not only in the store but also via Thuis­be­zorgd, Deliv­eroo, Uber and Foodo­ra.

The butch­er shop is con­stant­ly evolv­ing and focus­es on the wish­es of their cus­tomers. For exam­ple, mas­ter class­es are orga­nized with the Green Egg.
